Zenit DG steel Pump

The Zenit DG steel Pump is a compact stainless-steel submersible pump for sewage and soiled wastewater containing compatible solids. Its AISI 304 vortex impeller creates a large free passage. Therefore, wastewater can move through the hydraulic casing with limited contact against the impeller.

Zenit designed the steel Series for household installations and small civil plants. Consequently, the pump combines corrosion resistance with reliable wastewater lifting.

Stainless-Steel Vortex Hydraulic Design

The Zenit DG steel Pump uses an AISI 304 stainless-steel vortex impeller and an AISI 304 stainless-steel casing. During operation, the impeller creates a swirling flow inside the hydraulic chamber.

As a result, much of the wastewater passes around the impeller instead of through narrow channels. Therefore, the DG steel vortex pump helps reduce clogging when the liquid contains compatible suspended solids.

DG steel Pump Performance

The 50 Hz DG steel sewage pump range includes 0.37, 0.55 and 0.75 kW models. Moreover, selected configurations deliver up to approximately 6.7 l/s and develop heads up to 10.1 metres.

Full Free-Passage Operation

The smallest model provides a 25 mm free passage, while selected larger models provide up to 40 mm. Consequently, the stainless-steel vortex pump can move compatible wastewater solids that may block smaller passages.

Mechanical Seal and Maintenance

The DG steel submersible pump uses a silicon-carbide/alumina mechanical seal inside a large oil chamber. In addition, a V-ring remains in direct contact with the liquid and helps protect the sealing area.
