The WETEX 2015 was inaugurated by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of DEWA, which is held under the theme ‘At the forefront of sustainability.’ He was accompanied by Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and MD & CEO of DEWA. DEWA organized the 16th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) 2014.
This exhibition took place from 14-16 April 2014, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) and featured one of the largest exhibitions in the region, with more than 1,500 exhibitors from 42 countries participated, showcasing their latest technologies and equipment and raising their corporate profiles and building awareness about products and services while sharing ideas and best practices with the world’s leading players in the Water, Energy, and Environment Technology industries.
WETEX saw a display of a range of cutting-edge solutions, which include agricultural equipment and systems to address salinity, modern irrigation systems, water equipment, boilers, cables, electric transformers, conductors and energy products, pipes, valves, generators, transmission equipment and distribution of electricity, and other modern products.
