The Griswold 811 was one of the first pump designs to comply with ANSI standards in the 1970s, and continues to meet or exceed all B73.1 requirements for chemical processing today. The 811 offers a full range of pump sizes, as well as options and upgrades to tailor the 811's handling to meet virtually any fluid processing application.

Griswold’s E,F&G centrifugal pumps are designed for versatility! With capacities up to 3000 GPM, heads to 310 ft., a broad range of sizes and configuration options and extensive performance features, the E,F&G Series proves ideal for most water pumping applications.

E,F&Gs are equipped with your choice of either close-coupled NEMA electric motors or frame mounted with coupling to electric motors, engines, steam turbines or even belt-driven options. The E,F&G’s 360º mounting capabilities greatly extend installation options. Close-coupled configurations can be mounted vertically when space is at a premium. The E,F&G’s back pull-out design permits removal of the pump assembly for easy maintenance without disturbing pipe connections. All E,F&G models are flanged in accordance with ANSI B 16.1 for 125 PSI applications.

In addition to the wide variety of options and upgrades available to configure the Series for your specific application, all E,F&G pumps are engineered for performance, long life and easy maintenance with standard features such as:

  • Cast Iron Casing: 
    Our class 30 grade iron casing is tapped for a drain, vent and pressure gauge, includes a suction wear ring and can be rotated to various discharge positions. Standard ANSI flange-type suction and discharge nozzles facilitate installation and maintenance.
     
  • Shaft Sleeve: 
    The renewable bronze shaft sleeve insulates the shaft from abrasion and contact with pumped liquids.
     
  • Impeller: 
    Made of cast bronze and keyed to the shaft, our single-piece enclosed impeller is precision balanced with the diameter cut for the specific condition point. On high-head units, the impeller back is drilled for hydraulic balance, limiting thrust load and reducing pressure in the sealing area.
     
  • Wearing Rings: 
    Precision-made bronze wear rings are pressed into the casing and/or adapter as required and are renewable as well as easily replaced in the field.
     
  • Mechanical Shaft Seals:
    Our mechanical seals feature Carbon/Ceramic/Buna and stainless steel components, eliminating maintenance and adjustment problems. A bypass line on some models helps purge abrasives from the seal chamber.

  • Fast, Positive Priming: Pressures in the case and in the volute are balanced during pumping, preventing any loss of capacity from recirculation. In operation, you get maximum pumping capacity at the lowest cost.
     
  • Semi-Open Type Impeller: High efficiency, semi-open type impeller with clearance easily adjustable to compensate for wear after extended service, even with abrasive liquids.
     
  • Mechanical Shaft Seal: The open type mechanical seal is the finest available. All metal parts are chrome nickel stainless steel. The stationary seal face is made of optimum grade ceramic, resiliently mounted. The self-lubricating carbon rotating seal face assures longer, more reliable operation with a minimum of wear.
     
  • Heavy Duty Case: Highest quality, close grain cast iron case construction features thick wall sections for more rugged operation under adverse pumping conditions. Yet the entire pump is amazingly lightweight.
     
  • Perfect Alignment: A heavy-duty rigid bracket maintains perfect alignment between the centrifugal pump and the motor.

Griswold H Series High Head, Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps

Griswold’s H series offers options other high head self-priming pumps don’t. Ideally suited for turf irrigation, fire protection, swimming pool, industrial, marine and general transfer applications where greater flows and higher heads are needed. Available in 3, 5, 7½, 10, 15 and 20 horsepower with heads to 270’ and flows to 325 GPM.

Griswold 4”, 6” and 8” Submersible Turbine Pumps are designed for a wide variety of applications . . . farm, home, fountains, irrigation, industry, municipal and commercial use.

Seven Series of 6” pumps with flow rates up to 550 GPMand two series of 8” pumps up to 1000 GPM.

Griswold Vertical Turbine Pumps are available with two types of pump drives . . . vertical hollowshaft electric motor drive or right angle gear drive. Our turbine pumps offer you a choice of two types of lubrication . . . either a water lubricated line shaft or an oil lubricated line shaft construction.

To fit various applications, Griswold discharge heads are available either cast for above ground discharge or fabricated for various discharge configurations. Depending on pumping requirements, our pump bowls are available in 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” and 14” diameter.

Impellers available in the various bowl assemblies are of different designs and sizes. All impellers are precision designed, engineered and finished to give highest efficiency. Our impellers are made of high-strength bronze, machine, hand finished and dynamically balanced for top performance and long life. We manufacture a large variety of impeller and bowl designs. This makes it possible for us to fit most any job from 60 to 3500 gallons per minute . . . low or high head . . . open or pressure discharge.
