Affetti Centrifugal Pumps

HORIZONTAL FIBERGLASS PUMPS

The Vitrum Line was developed for mildly to severely corrosive liquids and able to withstand arduous working condition. All wetted parts are in reinforced fiberglass material, in order to resist abrasion and severe temperatures between -45°C (-50°F) and 120°C (250°F). The Series CFG horizontal centrifugal coupling pumps are designed according to ANSI / ASME B73.1, presenting new features and innovations to be more competitive. CFM close coupled horizontal centrifugal pumps with ANSI/ASME B73.1 suction and discharge out-lets, presents strong and resistant construction. Desalination and electro-chlorination are the more important example of application fields. Pump casing made in Solid FRP with high thick¬ness to ensure optimal mechanical strength and chemical resistance- without the need for metallic armoring.

Example of application: Seawater, Sulphuric Acid (H2SO4), Hydrochloric acid (HCl), Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Acetic acid (CH3COOH), Phosphoric acid (H3PO4), Zinc Chloride (ZnCl2), etc.

Material of Construction
Materials of construction are available for a wide corrosive liquids range and a long history of application experience. The flexibility through a wide range of materials selections for corrosive and abrasive liquids is a distinction of Affetti Pumps.

 

CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS WITH CAST-IRON ARMOUR AND MECHANICAL SEAL

The CGD pump range, centrifugal horizontal normalized to DIN EN 22858 ISO 2858 and CDM close coupled pump range, has been designed in order to face strong applications. Easy to handle, the pumps of this range are strong, produced in their components with high thickness to give a product with the maximum reliability. Suitable to transfer acid and basics solutions, the parts in contact with the liquid are build from a solid plastic (PP-PVDF-PEHD-PVC-PTFE)block and the gaskets present are in the right material (EPDM-FPM-FFKM). Primary label mechanical seals combinations are installed (internal, external and double flushed).

Example of application:, Sulphuric acid (H2SO4), Hydrochloric acid (HCl), Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Nitric acid (HNO3), Caustic Soda (NaOH), Phosphoric acid (H3PO4), Ferric Chloride (ZnCl2), etc.

Suitable to transfer acid and basics solutions, the parts in contact with the liquid are built from a solid plastic (PP-PVDF-PEHD-PVC-PTFE) block and the gaskets present are in the right material (EPDM-FPM-FFKM). Primary label mechanical seals combinations are installed (internal, external and double flushed) with like standard version the solution with silicon carbide faces (SiC-SiC) and bellows (FPM-EPDM). The impellers installed are generally semi-open, but they are available in the closed version for hot liquids and without solids in suspension. 
 

CENTRIFUGAL VERTICAL PUMPS

The Affetti vertical centrifugal pumps have been designed in order to obtain the best performances and a total reliability, with the posibility to exceed 3 meters in column length. Easy to handle, the pumps of this range are strong, compact construction, produced in their components with high thickness to give a product with the maximum strength. Suitable to transfer acid and basic solutions, the wet ends, are produced in thermoplastics (PP-PVDF-PEHD)and O-ring in the proper elastomer materials (EPDM-FPM-FEP-FFKM).

 
CGV-N - VERTICAL PUMPS WITH COUPLING AND CAST-IRON INTERMEDIATE ADAPTOR CGV-S - CANTILEVER VERTICAL PUMPS WITH COUPLING
The vertical centrifugal with coupling range CGV-N, has been designed in order to obtain the best performances and a total reliability. Easy to handle, the pumps of this range are strong, compact construction, produced in their components with high thickness to give a product with the maximum strength. Suitable to transfer acid and basic solutions, the wet ends, are produced in thermoplastics (PP-PVDF-PEHD)and O-ring in the proper elastomer material (EPDM-FPM-FEP-FFKM). Pump shaft connected to the motor through the elastic coupling with inside ball bearings, is guided trough PTFE CG and Al2O3 (alumina) bushings; available upon request is the alternative combination in SiC-SiC (silicium carbide). The impellers installed are generally semiopen, but they are available in the closed version for hot liquids and without solids in suspension. Standard columns length are 500-750-1000-1250-1500-1750-2000-2250-2500-3000 mm.

The CGV-S range of cantilever pumps was designed to meet a demand for vertical pumps that could operate without any risk of damage to the shaft guide bushings from abrasive solid particles contained in the fluid or from dry running, such that the design does not foresee any guide mechanisms close to the impeller.

The carbon steel 42CrMo4 pump shaft coated in corrosion-proof plastic, assembled in a cantilever manner and guided by strong bearings housed in the cast iron intermediate adaptor, is connected to the motor with an elastic coupling. 

All parts in contact with the fluid pumped are made of thermoplastic material (PP-PVDF-PEHD); column length available ranges from 500 to 1500 mm. 

CLV - VERTICAL CLOSE COUPLED PUMPS WITH ALLUMINIUM INTERMEDIATE ADAPTOR CGV - VERTICAL PUMPS WITH COUPLING AND ALLUMINIUM INTERMEDIATE ADAPTOR

The vertical centrifugal close coupled range CLV, has been designed in order to obtain the best performances with a reduced cost. Easy to handle, the pumps of this range are strong, compact construction, produced in their components with high thickness to give a product with the maximum reliability. 

Suitable to transfer acid and basic solutions, the wet ends, are produced in thermoplastics (PP-PVDF) and O-ring in the proper elastomer material (EPDM-FPM-FEP-FFKM). Pump shaft fixed to the motor, is guided trough PTFE CG and Al2O3 (alumina) bushings; available upon request is the alternative combination in SiC-SiC (silicium carbide). The impellers installed are generally semiopen, but they are available in the closed version for hot liquids and without solids in suspension. Standard columns length are 250-500-750-1000-1250-1500-1750-2000 mm.
